Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2019 Sothebys in London held the auction Scottish Art, which included the work Sunbather And Cactus by Alberto Morrocco. The price achieved of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 11,283.81) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alberto Morrocco achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Grande Natura Morta Napolitana in August 2006 with an auction result of GBP 98,400.00 (€ 146,327.02).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2019 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Scottish Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sunbather And Cactus von Alberto Morrocco zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 10.000,00 (€ 11.283,81) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alberto Morrocco erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Grande Natura Morta Napolitana im August 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 98.400,00 (€ 146.327,02).
