Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Still Life By The Sea by Alberto Morrocco was auctioned at Sothebys in London in September 2019. The price achieved of GBP 25,000.00 (€ 28,209.54) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by Alberto Morrocco have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Grande Natura Morta Napolitana in August 2006 with an auction result of GBP 98,400.00 (€ 146,327.02).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 25.000,00 (€ 28.209,54) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alberto Morrocco auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Grande Natura Morta Napolitana im August 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 98.400,00 (€ 146.327,02).
