Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2016 Christies in London held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art, which included the work Movimento dello sguardo orbita by Alberto Martini. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 5,000.00 – 700,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 6,250.00 (€ 7,502.04) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Alberto Martini have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work André Breton in March this year with an auction result of EUR 35,655.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2016 führte Christies in London die Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Movimento dello sguardo orbita von Alberto Martini zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 5.000,00 – 700.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 6.250,00 (€ 7.502,04) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alberto Martini auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit André Breton im März diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 35.655,00.
