The work Variazioni by Alberto Burri was auctioned at Christies in Milan in June last year. It achieved a price of EUR 10,080.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 26 %. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alberto Burri achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sacco E Rosso in February 2016 with an auction result of GBP 9,109,000.00 (€ 11,672,058.70).

Die Arbeit Variazioni von Alberto Burri kam im Juni letzten Jahres bei Christies in Mailand zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 10.080,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 26 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alberto Burri erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sacco E Rosso im Februar 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 9.109.000,00 (€ 11.672.058,70).
