Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Multiplex by Alberto Burri was sold in the Contemporary Curated auction at Sothebys in Milan in July last year. The price achieved of EUR 56,700.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 50,000.00 – 65,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alberto Burri achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sacco E Rosso in February 2016 with an auction result of GBP 9,109,000.00 (€ 11,672,058.70).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Multiplex von Alberto Burri wurde im Juli letzten Jahres in der Auktion Contemporary Curated bei Sothebys in Mailand versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 56.700,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 50.000,00 – 65.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alberto Burri erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sacco E Rosso im Februar 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 9.109.000,00 (€ 11.672.058,70).
