In December 2008 Sothebys in Amsterdam held the auction Modern and Contemporary Art, including 1950 Northern European Avant - Garde, which included the work Belgian Kleurrijk Winterlandschap by Albert Saverys. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 11,250.00 41% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Albert Saverys - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The River Lys In Winter, which sold at auction in December 2007 for EUR 26,650.00.

Im Dezember 2008 führte Sothebys in Amsterdam die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art, including 1950 Northern European Avant - Garde durch, in der auch die Arbeit Belgian Kleurrijk Winterlandschap von Albert Saverys zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 11.250,00 und damit 41% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Albert Saverys mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The River Lys In Winter beobachtet, die im Dezember 2007 für EUR 26.650,00 versteigert wurde.
