Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Meditation über bürokratische Tendenzen bei TZK (Meditation on Bureaucratic Tendencies at TZK) by Albert Oehlen was auctioned at Phillips in London in January 2024. The price achieved of GBP 508.00 (€ 850.22) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 400.00 – 600.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Albert Oehlen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Stier mit loch (Bull with hole) in October 2018 with an auction result of GBP 3,608,750.00 (€ 4,069,556.68).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Meditation über bürokratische Tendenzen bei TZK (Meditation on Bureaucratic Tendencies at TZK) von Albert Oehlen kam im Januar 2024 bei Phillips in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 508,00 (€ 850,22) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 400,00 – 600,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Albert Oehlen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Stier mit loch (Bull with hole) im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 3.608.750,00 (€ 4.069.556,68).
