Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2017 Sothebys in London held the auction 19th Century European Paintings, which included the work Peruvian dolce Far Niente by Albert Lynch. It changed hands for a price of GBP 18,750.00 (€ 21,352.75) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Albert Lynch - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Springtime, which sold at auction in January 2008 for GBP 44,900.00 (€ 60,190.38).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2017 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion 19th Century European Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Peruvian dolce Far Niente von Albert Lynch zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 18.750,00 (€ 21.352,75) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Albert Lynch mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Springtime beobachtet, die im Januar 2008 für GBP 44.900,00 (€ 60.190,38) versteigert wurde.
