In June 2017 Sothebys in London held the auction 19th Century European Paintings, which included the work Peruvian a Young Beauty by Albert Lynch. The result of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 11,388.13) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Albert Lynch have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Springtime in January 2008 with an auction result of GBP 44,900.00 (€ 60,190.38).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im Juni 2017 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion 19th Century European Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Peruvian a Young Beauty von Albert Lynch zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 10.000,00 (€ 11.388,13) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Albert Lynch auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Springtime im Januar 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 44.900,00 (€ 60.190,38).
