Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2019 Sothebys in London held the auction 19th Century European Paintings, which included the work Girl In A Golden Headdress by Albert Lynch. It changed hands for a price of GBP 7,500.00 (€ 8,234.50) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Albert Lynch have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Springtime in January 2008 with an auction result of GBP 44,900.00 (€ 60,190.38).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2019 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion 19th Century European Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Girl In A Golden Headdress von Albert Lynch zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 7.500,00 (€ 8.234,50) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Albert Lynch auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Springtime im Januar 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 44.900,00 (€ 60.190,38).
