This artwork by Aimé-Jules Dalou achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Paris in May last year. In the Collection Jacques Ginepro, Une Vie de Sculptures auction, the work Four Workers | Quatre Ouvriers sold for EUR 5,670.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Aimé-Jules Dalou achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Paysanne Française Allaitant Son Enfant in June 2020 with an auction result of EUR 188,500.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 89 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Aimé-Jules Dalou erzielte im Mai letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Collection Jacques Ginepro, Une Vie de Sculptures wurde die Arbeit Four Workers | Quatre Ouvriers für EUR 5.670,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Aimé-Jules Dalou erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Paysanne Française Allaitant Son Enfant im Juni 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 188.500,00.
