Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Cinq ouvriers agricoles (Five farm workers) by Aimé-Jules Dalou was auctioned at Sothebys in Paris in May last year. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 3,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 3,024.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Aimé-Jules Dalou achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Paysanne Française Allaitant Son Enfant in June 2020 with an auction result of EUR 188,500.00.
