Auction result well in line with expectations
The work White by Aida Tomescu was auctioned at Christies in Melbourne in November 2004. The price achieved of AUD 1,075.50 (€ 626.45) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as AUD 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Aida Tomescu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Zbor, 2003 in August this year with an auction result of AUD 35,670.00 (€ 21,285.50).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit White von Aida Tomescu kam im November 2004 bei Christies in Melbourne zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von AUD 1.075,50 (€ 626,45) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit AUD 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Aida Tomescu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Zbor, 2003 im August diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von AUD 35.670,00 (€ 21.285,50).
