Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Signata by Aida Tomescu was auctioned at Christies in Melbourne in April 2006. Here, the upper estimate of AUD 15,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for AUD 15,535.00 (€ 9,343.89). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Aida Tomescu - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Zbor, 2003, which sold at auction in August this year for AUD 35,670.00 (€ 21,285.50).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Signata von Aida Tomescu kam im April 2006 bei Christies in Melbourne zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von AUD 15.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für AUD 15.535,00 (€ 9.343,89) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Aida Tomescu mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Zbor, 2003 beobachtet, die im August diesen Jahres für AUD 35.670,00 (€ 21.285,50) versteigert wurde.
