The result of GBP 25,000.00 (€ 34,759.87) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ahmet Ertug - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Library of Trinity College, 'The Long Room', Dublin, which sold at auction in April 2014 for USD 137,000.00 (€ 98,774.33).

Die Arbeit 'Peacock Room, Castello Sammezzano, Italy', 2014 von Ahmet Ertug kam im Mai 2015 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 25.000,00 (€ 34.759,87) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 25.000,00 – 35.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Ahmet Ertug mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Library of Trinity College, 'The Long Room', Dublin beobachtet, die im April 2014 für USD 137.000,00 (€ 98.774,33) versteigert wurde.
