Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2020 Christies in London held the auction Modern & Contemporary Middle Eastern Art, which included the work Magnetism by Ahmed Mater. The price achieved of GBP 100,000.00 (€ 111,633.75) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Other works by Ahmed Mater have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June this year the work Magnetism (Triptych) was auctioned for GBP 189,000.00 (€ 219,963.46).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2020 führte Christies in London die Auktion Modern & Contemporary Middle Eastern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Magnetism von Ahmed Mater zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 100.000,00 (€ 111.633,75) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Ahmed Mater konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Juni diesen Jahres die Arbeit Magnetism (Triptych) für GBP 189.000,00 (€ 219.963,46) versteigert.
