Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2016 Sothebys in London held the auction 20th Century Art/ Middle East, which included the work Moroccanuntitled by Ahmed Ben Driss El Yacoubi. The price achieved of GBP 1,250.00 (€ 1,392.54) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ahmed Ben Driss El Yacoubi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Moroccan the Battle Of Marrakesh in December 2015 with an auction result of GBP 37,500.00 (€ 50,923.20).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2016 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion 20th Century Art/ Middle East durch, in der auch die Arbeit Moroccanuntitled von Ahmed Ben Driss El Yacoubi zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.250,00 (€ 1.392,54) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ahmed Ben Driss El Yacoubi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Moroccan the Battle Of Marrakesh im Dezember 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 37.500,00 (€ 50.923,20).
