Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Artists 1975 Sketchbook by Ahmed Ben Driss El Yacoubi was auctioned at Bonhams in London in May this year. The price achieved of GBP 8,960.00 (€ 10,425.02) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 6,000.00 – 10,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ahmed Ben Driss El Yacoubi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Moroccan the Battle Of Marrakesh in December 2015 with an auction result of GBP 37,500.00 (€ 50,923.20).
