Auction result well in line with expectations
In November this year Artcurial held the auction Moroccan & African Spirit, which included the work Composition, circa 1965 by Ahmed Ben Driss El Yacoubi. The price achieved of MAD 26,240.00 (€ 2,403.17) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as MAD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ahmed Ben Driss El Yacoubi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Moroccan the Battle Of Marrakesh in December 2015 with an auction result of GBP 37,500.00 (€ 50,923.20).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November diesen Jahres führte Artcurial die Auktion Moroccan & African Spirit durch, in der auch die Arbeit Composition, circa 1965 von Ahmed Ben Driss El Yacoubi zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von MAD 26.240,00 (€ 2.403,17) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit MAD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ahmed Ben Driss El Yacoubi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Moroccan the Battle Of Marrakesh im Dezember 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 37.500,00 (€ 50.923,20).
