Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2012 Sothebys in New York held the auction Latin American Art, which included the work Black Cherries by Agustín Fernández. The price achieved of USD 30,000.00 (€ 24,263.99) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Other works by Agustín Fernández have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in September this year the work without title was auctioned for USD 40,320.00 (€ 38,095.24).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2012 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Latin American Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Black Cherries von Agustín Fernández zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 30.000,00 (€ 24.263,99) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 25.000,00 – 35.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Agustín Fernández konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im September diesen Jahres die Arbeit ohne Titel für USD 40.320,00 (€ 38.095,24) versteigert.
