Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Petite table inutile by Agustín Cárdenas was auctioned at Christies in New York in May last year. It achieved a price of USD 23,940.00 (€ 22,309.20), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 20%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Agustín Cárdenas achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le repos in October 2020 with an auction result of EUR 620,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Petite table inutile von Agustín Cárdenas kam im Mai letzten Jahres bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 23.940,00 (€ 22.309,20) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 20%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Agustín Cárdenas erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Le repos im Oktober 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 620.000,00.
