The work La Choute by Agustín Cárdenas was sold in the Art contemporain - Vente du jour auction at Christies in London in June this year. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 75,600.00 26% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Agustín Cárdenas have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Le repos in October 2020 with an auction result of EUR 620,000.00.

Die Arbeit La Choute von Agustín Cárdenas wurde im Juni diesen Jahres in der Auktion Art contemporain - Vente du jour bei Christies in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 75.600,00 und damit 26% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Agustín Cárdenas auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Le repos im Oktober 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 620.000,00.
