Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Le petit couple - 1988 by Agustín Cárdenas was sold in the Post-War & Contemporary Art auction at Artcurial in Paris in June this year. The price achieved of EUR 9,840.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Agustín Cárdenas achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le repos in October 2020 with an auction result of EUR 620,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Le petit couple - 1988 von Agustín Cárdenas wurde im Juni diesen Jahres in der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 9.840,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Agustín Cárdenas erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Le repos im Oktober 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 620.000,00.
