Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work A Shipwreck With Figures On The Shore by Agostino Tassi was sold in the Old Master and British Works on Paper Including drawings from the Oppé Collection auction at Sothebys in London in July 2016. It achieved a price of GBP 3,500.00 (€ 4,158.76), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17%. Admittedly, works by Agostino Tassi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Shipwreck with Figures in January 2021 with an auction result of USD 25,200.00 (€ 20,766.38).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit A Shipwreck With Figures On The Shore von Agostino Tassi wurde im Juli 2016 in der Auktion Old Master and British Works on Paper Including drawings from the Oppé Collection bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 3.500,00 (€ 4.158,76) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 17%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Agostino Tassi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A Shipwreck with Figures im Januar 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 25.200,00 (€ 20.766,38).
