Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2015 Christies in London held the auction Old Master & British Paintings, which included the work A river landscape with a ferry crossing and boat builders at work on the bank by Agostino Tassi. The price achieved of GBP 4,375.00 (€ 6,007.88) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Agostino Tassi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A Shipwreck with Figures, which sold at auction in January 2021 for USD 25,200.00 (€ 20,766.38).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2015 führte Christies in London die Auktion Old Master & British Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit A river landscape with a ferry crossing and boat builders at work on the bank von Agostino Tassi zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 4.375,00 (€ 6.007,88) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Agostino Tassi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A Shipwreck with Figures beobachtet, die im Januar 2021 für USD 25.200,00 (€ 20.766,38) versteigert wurde.
