In April 2007 Sothebys in Singapore held the auction Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings, which included the work Yang Berani Ambil Resiko by Agapetus A. Kristiandana. The »bidding war« ended at SGD 5,760.00 (€ 2,774.58), 44% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Agapetus A. Kristiandana achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Lindunesia Raya in October 2008 with an auction result of HKD 387,500.00 (€ 39,416.10).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 44 % übertroffen
Im April 2007 führte Sothebys in Singapur die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Yang Berani Ambil Resiko von Agapetus A. Kristiandana zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von SGD 5.760,00 (€ 2.774,58) und damit 44% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Agapetus A. Kristiandana erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Lindunesia Raya im Oktober 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 387.500,00 (€ 39.416,10).
