In July 2019 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Masters Day Sale, which included the work River Landscape At Sunset With A Cottage And Trees by Aert van der Neer. The auction ended at the price of GBP 50,000.00 (€ 54,896.68), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Aert van der Neer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Frozen River At Sunset in January 2015 with an auction result of USD 4,757,000.00 (€ 4,213,463.24).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im Juli 2019 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Old Masters Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit River Landscape At Sunset With A Cottage And Trees von Aert van der Neer zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 50.000,00 (€ 54.896,68) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 30.000,00 – 50.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Aert van der Neer erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Frozen River At Sunset im Januar 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 4.757.000,00 (€ 4.213.463,24).
