In July 2015 Christies in London held the auction Old Master & British Paintings Day Sale, which included the work A wooded landscape with travellers on a path by a canal, a town beyond by Aert van der Neer. The result of GBP 60,000.00 (€ 85,059.85) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Aert van der Neer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Frozen River At Sunset in January 2015 with an auction result of USD 4,757,000.00 (€ 4,213,463.24).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im Juli 2015 führte Christies in London die Auktion Old Master & British Paintings Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit A wooded landscape with travellers on a path by a canal, a town beyond von Aert van der Neer zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 60.000,00 (€ 85.059,85) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 60.000,00 – 80.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Aert van der Neer erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Frozen River At Sunset im Januar 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 4.757.000,00 (€ 4.213.463,24).
