Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2015 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Master & British Paintings Day Sale, which included the work A River Landscape By Moonlight With Boats And Settlements On Both Banks by Aert van der Neer. The price achieved of GBP 37,500.00 (€ 53,162.40) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Aert van der Neer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Frozen River At Sunset in January 2015 with an auction result of USD 4,757,000.00 (€ 4,213,463.24).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2015 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Old Master & British Paintings Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit A River Landscape By Moonlight With Boats And Settlements On Both Banks von Aert van der Neer zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 37.500,00 (€ 53.162,40) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Aert van der Neer erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Frozen River At Sunset im Januar 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 4.757.000,00 (€ 4.213.463,24).
