engraving, circa 1600, with an indistinct watermark, a good impression of the second, final state, trimmed to or just within the platemark on all sides, a 10 mm. tear to the left sheet edge, some skinning at the sheet corners on the reverse, with traces of old adhesive showing through, otherwise in good condition

In September 2007 Christies in London held the auction Old Master, Modern and Contemporary Prints, which included the work Bartholomaeus Spranger and his wife Christina Muller (Holl. 332) by Aegidius Sadeler. It changed hands for a price of GBP 3,250.00 (€ 4,660.26) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. Other works by Aegidius Sadeler have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in September 2012 the work Bartholomäus Spranger und seine Gattin Christina Müller, um 1600. was auctioned for CHF 10,560.00 (€ 8,738.12).

Im September 2007 führte Christies in London die Auktion Old Master, Modern and Contemporary Prints durch, in der auch die Arbeit Bartholomaeus Spranger and his wife Christina Muller (Holl. 332) von Aegidius Sadeler zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 3.250,00 (€ 4.660,26) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.500,00 – 3.500,00.
