A top price for Adrianus Cornelis van Noort - as previously expected
The work Children on the beach, Zandvoort by Adrianus Cornelis van Noort was sold in the PICTURES WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS INCL. COPIES AFTER OMPIX auction at Christies in Amsterdam in September 2001. The price achieved of EUR 1,645.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,400.00 – 2,300.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Children on the beach, Zandvoort is the most expensive artwork by Adrianus Cornelis van Noort that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Children on the beach, Zandvoort von Adrianus Cornelis van Noort wurde im September 2001 in der Auktion PICTURES WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS INCL. COPIES AFTER OMPIX bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.645,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.400,00 – 2.300,00 angegeben worden.
