In the Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings auction, the work A Sunny Day At The Beach sold for EUR 956.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 500.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Adrianus Cornelis van Noort; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Children on the beach, Zandvoort sold at auction in September 2001 with the realized price of EUR 1,645.00.
