This artwork by Adrianus Cornelis van Noort achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in September 2004. In the Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings auction, the work A Sunny Day At The Beach sold for EUR 956.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 500.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Adrianus Cornelis van Noort; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Children on the beach, Zandvoort sold at auction in September 2001 with the realized price of EUR 1,645.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Adrianus Cornelis van Noort erzielte im September 2004 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings wurde die Arbeit A Sunny Day At The Beach für EUR 956,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 500,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Adrianus Cornelis van Noort; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Children on the beach, Zandvoort im September 2001 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 1.645,00.
