Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work A Sunny Day At The Beach by Adrianus Cornelis van Noort was sold in the Paintings, Drawings and Watercolours auction at Sothebys in Amsterdam in March 2007. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 1,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 1,560.00. Other works by Adrianus Cornelis van Noort have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of EUR 1,645.00 in September 2001 for the work Children on the beach, Zandvoort.
