Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Composition, 1957 by Adrian Heath was sold in the Modern British & Irish Art Day Sale auction at Christies in London in June 2017. The price achieved of GBP 37,500.00 (€ 42,705.50) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Admittedly, works by Adrian Heath have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Painting With Orange And Purple in October last year with an auction result of GBP 163,800.00 (€ 190,825.19).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Composition, 1957 von Adrian Heath wurde im Juni 2017 in der Auktion Modern British & Irish Art Day Sale bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 37.500,00 (€ 42.705,50) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Adrian Heath auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Painting With Orange And Purple im Oktober letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 163.800,00 (€ 190.825,19).
