Auction result well in line with expectations
In November last year Christies in Hong Kong held the auction 20th/21st Century Art Evening Sale, which included the work Degenerate Art by Adrian Ghenie. The price achieved of HKD 56,850,000.00 (€ 7,054,620.75) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 48,000,000.00 – 68,000,000.00. Other works by Adrian Ghenie have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May last year the work Pie Fight Interior 12 was auctioned for HKD 81,060,000.00 (€ 9,623,561.64).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November letzten Jahres führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion 20th/21st Century Art Evening Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Degenerate Art von Adrian Ghenie zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 56.850.000,00 (€ 7.054.620,75) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 48.000.000,00 – 68.000.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Adrian Ghenie konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai letzten Jahres die Arbeit Pie Fight Interior 12 für HKD 81.060.000,00 (€ 9.623.561,64) versteigert.
