Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2011 Christies in London held the auction 20th Century British Art, which included the work The Lake, Kew Gardens, Summer, Night 1984 by Adrian Berg. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 3,500.00 (€ 4,050.58) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Adrian Berg have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in December 2010 the work Regent's Park, January, February '63 was auctioned for GBP 5,250.00 (€ 6,089.98).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2011 führte Christies in London die Auktion 20th Century British Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Lake, Kew Gardens, Summer, Night 1984 von Adrian Berg zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 3.500,00 (€ 4.050,58) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Adrian Berg konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Dezember 2010 die Arbeit Regent's Park, January, February '63 für GBP 5.250,00 (€ 6.089,98) versteigert.
