Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In March 2012 Christies in London held the auction 20th Century British Art, which included the work Regent's Park, June 1969 by Adrian Berg. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 2,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 2,125.00 (€ 2,547.48). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Adrian Berg - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Regent's Park, January, February '63, which sold at auction in December 2010 for GBP 5,250.00 (€ 6,089.98).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im März 2012 führte Christies in London die Auktion 20th Century British Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Regent's Park, June 1969 von Adrian Berg zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 2.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 2.125,00 (€ 2.547,48) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Adrian Berg mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Regent's Park, January, February '63 beobachtet, die im Dezember 2010 für GBP 5.250,00 (€ 6.089,98) versteigert wurde.
