Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2012 Christies in London held the auction Modern British and Irish Art, which included the work St. Katherine's Precinct, Regents Park by Adrian Berg. The price achieved of GBP 2,125.00 (€ 2,620.72) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,500.00 – 2,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Adrian Berg - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Regent's Park, January, February '63, which sold at auction in December 2010 for GBP 5,250.00 (€ 6,089.98).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2012 führte Christies in London die Auktion Modern British and Irish Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit St. Katherine's Precinct, Regents Park von Adrian Berg zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.125,00 (€ 2.620,72) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.500,00 – 2.500,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Adrian Berg mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Regent's Park, January, February '63 beobachtet, die im Dezember 2010 für GBP 5.250,00 (€ 6.089,98) versteigert wurde.
