Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Gloucester Gate, Regents Park, Night, Autumn 1981/2 by Adrian Berg was sold in the Modern British and Irish Art auction at Christies in London in July 2013. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 3,500.00 (€ 3,999.36) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Adrian Berg have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in December 2010 the work Regent's Park, January, February '63 was auctioned for GBP 5,250.00 (€ 6,089.98).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Gloucester Gate, Regents Park, Night, Autumn 1981/2 von Adrian Berg wurde im Juli 2013 in der Auktion Modern British and Irish Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 3.500,00 (€ 3.999,36) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
