Auction result well in line with expectations
The work St Katharine's Precinct, Regent's Park, April by Adrian Berg was auctioned at Christies in London in August 2005. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 1,080.00 (€ 1,577.69) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Adrian Berg - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Regent's Park, January, February '63, which sold at auction in December 2010 for GBP 5,250.00 (€ 6,089.98).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit St Katharine's Precinct, Regent's Park, April von Adrian Berg kam im August 2005 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 1.080,00 (€ 1.577,69) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Adrian Berg mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Regent's Park, January, February '63 beobachtet, die im Dezember 2010 für GBP 5.250,00 (€ 6.089,98) versteigert wurde.
