Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2006 Christies in London held the auction 20th Century British Art, which included the work Park In Autumn by Adrian Berg. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 1,080.00 (€ 1,547.45) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Adrian Berg - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Regent's Park, January, February '63, which sold at auction in December 2010 for GBP 5,250.00 (€ 6,089.98).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2006 führte Christies in London die Auktion 20th Century British Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Park In Autumn von Adrian Berg zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 1.080,00 (€ 1.547,45) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Adrian Berg mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Regent's Park, January, February '63 beobachtet, die im Dezember 2010 für GBP 5.250,00 (€ 6.089,98) versteigert wurde.
