A top price for Adriaen van de Velde
In July 2021 Christies in London held the auction Old Masters Evening Sale, which included the work View from the Dunes out to Sea by Adriaen van de Velde. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 562,500.00 (€ 659,647.88), 61% above the upper estimate. This high result makes View from the Dunes out to Sea the most expensive artwork by Adriaen van de Velde that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Juli 2021 führte Christies in London die Auktion Old Masters Evening Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit View from the Dunes out to Sea von Adriaen van de Velde zur Versteigerung kam.
