Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Italianate Landscape With A Ram, Other Sheep And A Dead Tree by Adriaen van de Velde was sold in the Old Masters auction at Sothebys in London in April 2016. The price achieved of GBP 8,125.00 (€ 10,386.17) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Adriaen van de Velde achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work View from the Dunes out to Sea in July 2021 with an auction result of GBP 562,500.00 (€ 659,647.88).

Die Arbeit Italianate Landscape With A Ram, Other Sheep And A Dead Tree von Adriaen van de Velde wurde im April 2016 in der Auktion Old Masters bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 8.125,00 (€ 10.386,17) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 7.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben worden.
