The »bidding war« ended at USD 35,000.00 (€ 26,311.83), 40% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Adham Wanly have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Kiss in April 2010 with an auction result of USD 146,500.00 (€ 110,133.81).

Die Arbeit El-Sebou Temple In Nubia von Adham Wanly wurde im April 2010 in der Auktion International Modern & Contemporary Art, Including Masterpieces from The Collection of Dr. Mohammed Said Farsi bei Christies in Dubai versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 35.000,00 (€ 26.311,83) und damit 40% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Adham Wanly auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Kiss im April 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 146.500,00 (€ 110.133,81).
