The work Umm Kolhtoum by Adel El Siwi was auctioned at Christies in Dubai in April 2008. It achieved a price of USD 67,000.00 (€ 43,037.00), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 68%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Adel El Siwi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Red & The Blue, which sold at auction in April 2012 for USD 158,500.00 (€ 119,812.53).

Die Arbeit Umm Kolhtoum von Adel El Siwi kam im April 2008 bei Christies in Dubai zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 67.000,00 (€ 43.037,00) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 68%. Für andere Arbeiten von Adel El Siwi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Red & The Blue beobachtet, die im April 2012 für USD 158.500,00 (€ 119.812,53) versteigert wurde.
