Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2016 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Post-War and Contemporary Art, which included the work Houtgrafiek Nº Vii by Ad Dekkers. It changed hands for a price of EUR 18,750.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ad Dekkers have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Dutch Reliëf Met Afgeschuinde Blokjes - Relief With Bevelled Blocks in June 2008 with an auction result of EUR 108,750.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2016 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Houtgrafiek Nº Vii von Ad Dekkers zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 18.750,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ad Dekkers auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Dutch Reliëf Met Afgeschuinde Blokjes - Relief With Bevelled Blocks im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 108.750,00.
