Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In April 2016 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Post-War and Contemporary Art, which included the work Begrensde Middellijn by Ad Dekkers. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 35,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 37,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ad Dekkers - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Dutch Reliëf Met Afgeschuinde Blokjes - Relief With Bevelled Blocks, which sold at auction in June 2008 for EUR 108,750.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im April 2016 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Begrensde Middellijn von Ad Dekkers zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 35.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 37.500,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Ad Dekkers mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Dutch Reliëf Met Afgeschuinde Blokjes - Relief With Bevelled Blocks beobachtet, die im Juni 2008 für EUR 108.750,00 versteigert wurde.
