It achieved a price of GBP 11,875.00 (€ 13,399.53), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 48%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Abraham Willemsens - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A peasant family in a yard, which sold at auction in November 2001 for EUR 30,550.00.

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 11.875,00 (€ 13.399,53) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 48%. Für andere Arbeiten von Abraham Willemsens mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A peasant family in a yard beobachtet, die im November 2001 für EUR 30.550,00 versteigert wurde.
