This price was achieved in the auction Old Masters Day Sale at Sothebys in London and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of GBP 30,000.00 many times over. Admittedly, works by Abraham Storck have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Capricci of Mediterranean ports: the first with the monument of the Four Moors of Leghorn; the second with a monument of Abundance in July 2000 with an auction result of GBP 443,750.00 (€ 717,537.91).

Die Arbeit Shipping On The Ij, With A View Of Amsterdam Beyond von Abraham Storck war einem Käufer im Juli 2019 GBP 162.500,00 (€ 178.414,20) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Old Masters Day Sale bei Sothebys in London erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 30.000,00 um ein Vielfaches.
