In June 2021 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Old Master & 19th century Art, which included the work Scène De Plage Animée De Personnages by Abraham Storck. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 52,000.00 30% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Abraham Storck achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Capricci of Mediterranean ports: the first with the monument of the Four Moors of Leghorn; the second with a monument of Abundance in July 2000 with an auction result of GBP 443,750.00 (€ 717,537.91).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 30 % übertroffen
Im Juni 2021 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Old Master & 19th century Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Scène De Plage Animée De Personnages von Abraham Storck zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 52.000,00 und damit 30% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Abraham Storck erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Capricci of Mediterranean ports: the first with the monument of the Four Moors of Leghorn; the second with a monument of Abundance im Juli 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 443.750,00 (€ 717.537,91).
